Preparation Before Radiology Examinations
Preparation requirements depend on the type of examination:
X-Ray Examination
No special preparation required.
Ultrasound Examination
Some types of ultrasound require specific preparation, such as:
- Fasting
- Not menstruating (for female patients undergoing certain examinations)
The AIC Medical team will provide detailed preparation instructions at the time of appointment.
Radiology Examination Safety
Radiology examinations at AIC Medical are safe and performed in accordance with applicable medical procedures, with patient safety as the top priority. AIC Medical controls radiation exposure through regular inspections and monitoring by a Radiation Protection Officer (RPO) and by using radiation doses that comply with medical standards. These measures ensure that all examinations are safe and well-controlled.
Radiology Result Turnaround Time
Radiology examination results are generally available within ± 1 working day.
Integration with Doctor Consultation
Currently, radiology examination results are not directly integrated with doctor consultation services at AIC Medical. However, patients may use their radiology results as reference material for further medical consultations as needed.
